We purchased a smoker that uses the logs and it is so uneven in it's cooking and was super smokey. This smoker is the best! After reading the reviews was so excited to try it once it finally arrived and it does not disappoint. It cooks everything perfect from meats, to fish, to veggies. We use it about 5 times a week. My only recommendation is do not try to speed up the cooking by turning the temp up. Low and slow works best.

This is a wonderful way to smoke and slow cook meats, especially ribs and Boston butt, brisket, etc. Just fill the hopper and forget it. It also does a great job on burgers and hotdogs. I haven’t mastered steaks on it, not sure I ever will. The heat is indirect and steaks do better on an open grill.

I wish I would have bought the next size up but definitely functional.
Takes awhile to assemble, like a lot of things today not the best directions.
Holds temp well, not really clear on how many features it says it can do?
I guess it somewhat smokes- somewhat grills... kind of a guessing game.
Meats have turned out Great; chicken, steaks, burgers, & dogs so far.
